MINIMALLY INVASIVE SPINE SURGERY

Mimimally Invasive Spine Surgery (MISS) is an alternative for Patient requiring surgery to Treata spine disorder (e.g herniated disc & spinal stenosis).

The advancements in surgical techiques and instruments has transformed the face of spine surgeries. No longer do all spine surgical procedures require long incisions that enable the surgeon to see a large area of the patient’s spinal anatomy. Today, a majority of spine surgeries are effectively performed through tiny incisions.

Unlike open surgery many minimally invasive spine surgical procedures do not require cutting muscles of Soft Tissue.

MISS benefits a patient in multiple ways. It can shorten a patient’s length of stay in the hospital, reduce blood loss during surgery, reduce the risk of infection, help reduce muscle and tissue injury reduce postoperative pain and the need for pain, medication. With smaller scars and faster healing, the patient soon resumes normal activities.
